Why isn't Stillman being assigned to Utica? He is the kind of hard working gritty forward the Comets are desperate for to go along with Greer. That would be 2 lines with some teeth in them.

Not directly Devils-related but it was interesting to see that Andreas Johnsson's older brother Jonathan was one of the SHL's assist leaders with 38 in 51 games for Skelleftea.

Funny, but for whatever reason he played in the Swedish 2nd league until last year, when he made his SHL debut at 27.

Peterborough Petes lose game 2. Down to Hamilton 2-0.

Looking forward to how NJ will treat Stillman if/when the Petes' season ends.

Would like to see the Comets get Chase on an ATO allowing him to retain his amateur status for next season, while getting in some practices and if they prove fruitful a little game time. Would be good for him to see what he has to do next season to become at least AHL ready in '22-23.

Misyul & Zaitsev are both signed with their KHL team for 22-23. So none of the Russians can be signed.

Salminen is going to be Freshman at Denver so he can be NCAA section (just a formatting comment). All the NCAA players are staying in school as far as I know.

The question is if the team thinks any of older European forward prospects (Pakkila, Pasic, Pytlik & Baumgartner) are worth signing. Not sure about any of them.

If you noticed the NCAA group was listed as "NORTH AMERICAN" players and Salminen is a FINN so he got listed with the rest of the Finns.

Agree with you on that last group. With the kids they have and the others that will be coming in it doesn't seem likely Fitz is going to want to sign older guys who haven't shown enough to be considered valuable enough to eat up a contract slot.
