I have no idea why he is resigning but from a pure hockey point of view this is good news for the Winnipeg Jets, I have always felt that he has held this team back. Hopefully coach Maurice is not dealing with any health or family issues.

Exactly. There is no point in leading a team when you have lost that passion for the game. Guys can feel it.
