Still a good experience overall. He wasn't going to medal anyway, the two Chinese divers are probably on the podium, and there's a really good British and ROC diver too.

The thing about the sprint races in cycling I don't like is that the start is the nonsense of trying to get an advantage before the actual racing occurs. It should be the 2 racers should start at either side of the oval and just out-cycle each other.

Basically some newcomers to the Sprint track scene posting in the 9.80s in 100m is very unusual when their personal bests before Tokyo were in the low 10s.

I'm sure the testing is stringent but because of COVID, were the frequency of tests the same as before in the past year?

So, two racers trailing in Keirin Heat 2 crash and Barrette finishes first but they have a rerun, even though those two don't take part. Rerun, Barrette crashes but no rerun. Go figure. Something about the Maple Leaf, I guess.

Yes, the experience has been good. Past couple of days really made up for it . Didn't expect 23+ medals the way things were going for a while. Women's Soccer and Andre De Grasse were the highlights for me. Warner getting a decathalon gold was great too.
