3.4 would be if they left room for next year's bonuses as well. If not, that other 1.7 (assuming that they earn those bonuses) would apply on their 2021-22 cap.

I'd bet someone that Josh Leivo puts up a better points/$ than Tyler Toffoli next year.

Maybe even points/minute...

Wouldn’t really be fair because Toffoli will be getting paid and Leivo maybe comes back for similar dollars.

In any case, if Toffoli is re-signed then I think Virtanen will he packaged with a bad contract in order to get a defender on a good term.
