This is not the Loria regime anymore. If they trade players it will be because they are not in contention, not just for the fun of it.(just like any other team not in contention does) Jeter has a solid plan and will run the team accordingly.
Yes, but the organization was a hot mess and they had to dump those salaries in order to rebuild the farm system. Now of course I cannot 100% etch in stone that another fire sale is out of the question, but unlike the prior regimes, it would be with a specific baseball reason in mind, not just for the heck of it.Damn I missed this reply.
