He had a long pro career in the AHL and IHL.

Holloway spent last season with the Okotoks Oilers in the AJHL. He was named the league’s most valuable player. Holloway scored 40 goals and 88 points in 53 games. He also added nine goals and 13 points in 11 playoff games. Holloway has also represented Canada internationally, putting up one goal and three points in five games and winning gold at the 2018 Hlinka-Gretzky Cup. He has also played at the last two World Junior A Hockey Championships, winning gold in the December 2017 tourney. Holloway also played at the 2019 IIHF Under-18 World Championships, scoring four points in seven games. Big body, his game didn’t carry over to NCAA, but there was improvement right before the shut down. The thing will be if they can get him To transition to the pro game.

Sure hope he shows some offensive upside next year in college.

Seems like NCAA will start up in November.

Not sure about this one, but welcome to the Oilers.

Trying to turn a new leaf and be positive here.

Well no, Larkin didn't play in the NCAA in his draft year.
Compare their birthdays. Larkin is a July 1996 birthday with 47 points in 35 games. Holloway is an September 2001 birthday with 19 points.

He's fast, he can shoot, and he's big. He's not a dumb player either, and he really improved during the second half of the season.

Let's give him a chance before calling him a bust lol. I would have preferred Reichel, but this isn't a bad pick.
