Unless it’s Shane Doan. f*** that tool.I know it's a pipe dream. He wants to retire as a Pred. And I have huge respect for that, 1 club men regardless of sport are always very highly regarded and not that common.

Even if they are annoying and despicable as players, being a 1 club man still gets my respects.Unless it’s Shane Doan. f*** that tool.
Zacha, Ericsson Ek, Greenway, Kempe and Roslovic are a few examples of guys who I couldn’t find any level of offensive success until they were a year older than what Jost is now.Jost was 7/10 on faceoffs today. Honestly we all crapped on him for a couple of years but he doesn't lose (all) his board battles anymore and I'd be OK to keep him in the bottom 6 long term.
Wouldn't be surprised if his offensive numbers take a turn in the upcoming years. Kinda like Girard's.
Did Bednar say that while making direct eye contact with the Preds scout and then gave him a knowing head nod?
Forsberg + Saros
That was my first thought as well. Compher coming in and slotting in at RW instead of 3C could be an indication that he's being showcased in his best position.Ahh, now we know why Compher drew in. Ok
Acquire ALL the Swedes!!!What if Joe deals JTC + Gravy + Kaut for Jarnkrok and Ekholm?
A Mattias two-fer
Rinne for JTC please
For the Avs yes. For the Preds they can have nice picks for these players without having to take the big cap dump. That's a player they'll get stuck with for 2 more years.Granlund, Jarnkrok, or Haula with Compher+ going the other way would make sense.

I gotta say, I’m not really feeling the itch for a trade right now while the Avs are rolling over teams.
I’d probably sit tight till the deadline, aside from continuing to look at the backup goalie market.
Last year everytime he tried something he failed and it was depressing.Jost was 7/10 on faceoffs today. Honestly we all crapped on him for a couple of years but he doesn't lose (all) his board battles anymore and I'd be OK to keep him in the bottom 6 long term.
