Someone will claim this is hyperbole, but it isn't.
If you're being realistic, Riley Tufte has a better chance at an NHL career than Mavrik Bourque. He's big, athletic, can play the PK, and he's defensively responsible. Bourque is a boom or bust prospect.
Defensive forwards are always going to have an easier and more likely path to the NHL over a Top 6 prospect. I'm so glad that something changed in Nil and/or McDonnell that caused them to value skill more than normal. Those quotes from Turner about Bourque seem to suggest that as some have mentioned, Braydon Point beating their butts in the SCF might have been that cause.
