Cool to have him back as a veteran, but I’m shocked he hasn’t taken off to Europe yet. I suppose his game doesn’t really fit the style of there though

I wouldn't be surprised if his plan is to end his playing career with an AHL team that he can then immediately slide into a staff position with.
