Say what you want about Tom Wilson, guy’s got some skill. That was a nice goal he scored there

He's still easily one of the top 10 guys from the 2012 draft, which did lack high end forwards, but still. The top 10 from that draft would be guys like Lindholm, Trouba, Reilly, Lindell, Parayko, Forsberg, etc. with Wilson in the mix.

No player in the NHL up front comes close to replicating his impact. Reeves is tougher, but the guy averages 15 points a season. Wilson's PPG over these past 5 seasons is around 0.6 PPG, so 48/49 points over a full season. Other bigger skilled forwards are not a menacing as Wilson.

Palmieri with only 2 goals in 17 regular season games after being traded to the Isles, but picks up 2 goals, including the OT winner, to put the Isles up 1-0 in the series.
Its gotta be the fact that he can have a beard again now its playoffs and Uncle Lou doesn't care about shaving anymore?

Vegas is the best puck supporting team in the league.

they just tilt the ice soooooo much.

every player understands moving to open ice to receive a pass.
Vancouver is a terrible transition team in the neutral zone and should watch a hell of a lot more Vegas tape on repeat.

Kaprizov looks insane. First real game watching him and he controls the puck better than anyone out there.

This is a really high level game. @Breakers with a great post about Vegas above.

I would love to be the team that dictates everything.

Vegas is this good and like Mr C stated they are inefficiently spending in net.

Refs putting whistles away isn’t something I missed. It’s funny the leagues “best” refs are just high level game managers.
