2019 Training Camp/Preseason Thread

I really think it's just as simple as they're keeping Peeke an extra day for practice or whatever. Haven't heard anything about Bemstrom being injured. And if he was injured, it wouldn't make sense to send down Dano instead of Peeke and have only 12 healthy forwards on the roster while carrying three extra defensemen (plus expose Dano to waivers unnecessarily).

he wasn't practicing and assuming all the other made the team since the deadline is tomorrow someone has to be on IR.

Shockingly, common sense won out. Peeke to Cleveland. Dubinsky and Foudy to IR.

He's headed to Cleveland. I imagine he's the first call-up in case of a trade or multiple injury situation.

Peeke has a lot of skill. Was at the Buffalo game- that kid can play. It’s just to bad it’s hard to trade bottom tier defensemen. Cause Peeke deserves a spot on this team. Should be a hell of a player for the Monsters though.

Harrington, sure, but I wouldn't be as sanguine about bypassing Kukan already given how he's done this preseason and camp. I could see it in the very near future, tho. It's like with Kukan and Peeke we've got Lite/Poor Man's Editions of Werenski and Jones to go along with the real thing.
