How much did you win in the casino?

The other day? Around 3000$ CDN. And as I mentioned I'd give it up for the Avs to win.

Edit:
If you follow my posts for some reason I already had a massive gambling debt (bigger than 3k), so basically this goes towards my credit card. Thankfully I don't have to give the money up.

Man that series was so much tougher than the Avs have been physically speaking. Some of those Blues guys must be hurting.

Help me out here. When was the last time the Blues were in the semis waiting for the result of a game 7 to determine whether their opponent would be a team from California? Has this ever happened? What was the result?

We lost Forsberg. :(

Observations:

I still miss the white sweaters at home.

What was with Hartley & buttoning the top button on a polo shirt?

Ville Nieminen.

Never tire of 37s producing.

Stephan Yelle.

Jon Klemm.

Eric Messier.

Shjon Podein.

Still hate the Drury trade.

Well fellas.. Taking a bit of a HF hiatus, have some personal issues going on and need to focus on that first.

I might pop in every once in a while, but if not, remember me if we sign Panarin.

Go Avs go!
Good luck with anything that might be the issue, bud. I hope all works out peachy :)

Nobody’s leaving. Nobody’s walking out on this good, old fashioned playoff run!

Seriously, good luck with whatever personal issues you’re dealing with at this time.

That game looks like it's in slow motion compared to today. And yes, I know a lot of those shots are actually in slow motion.

I was upset as all hell when Lacroix traded Ville. He was one of my favorites, and wildly underrated. Dude was very similar to J.T. Compher, a grinder with speed who sometimes came up with the big goal. I can still remember Rick Berry (who was included in that deal for five minutes of Darius Kasparaitis) in tears when addressing the media on his way out. He must've really loved Denver because he still lives there.

I know I am the Hot Taek Guy when it comes to Drury (I still am not as big a fan as most) but there can be no argument that losing both him AND Yelle did more to torpedo the Avs' status as contenders than any other single transaction/departure.

Still love Bob Hartley, still do NOT love Marty Skoula. And I absolutely LOVED the verbal sparring between Andy Murray and Hartley.

That scrappy Kings team was way, way better than most gave them credit for at the time. Boucher, Visnovsky, Modry, Miller, Berg, Karalahti, and Nordstrom. Depth-wise that's a really good d-corps, especially considering the budget restrictions Taylor was working under at the time. Injuries pretty much destroyed any chance they had to build off that playoff run.

Man that doesn't seem like it was that long ago, but it was. Guess we'll see what happens tonight.

I really thought we could beat the Sharks but in the end, those playoffs were a lot more than what we should have expected. It was a great experience for this core to build on. I'm proud of the boys.

Your turn now Joe, you've got a lot of work to do.
