No. Anyone IRed after rosters are at 53 is eligible to return after 8 weeks.

They may view him as a Brandon king replacement on special teams

Current rumors are that Harry will be the one going on IR as the corresponding move to re-sign Thomas. On the one hand, not too surprising considering Harry has been out since the first game. On the other hand, I don't like the idea of sitting Harry for 8 weeks if he's healthy enough to play in 2 or even 4. He needs as much practice time as possible, and he loses that if he goes on IR.

Personally, I would put Shilique Calhoun on IR to bring back Thomas. They've got depth at the DE/OLB spot, and Calhoun's development doesn't matter. He's a JAG and Harry is expected/supposed to be the future at WR. We all know how important it is for young WRs to develop chemistry with Brady.
