Ekblad was better at the same age. Hedman took a while to become a number one. He was disappointing early in his career and didn’t break out til his 5th year or so.

Ekblad was more physical mature. Hedman has to grow into his body. Hedman always had way more tools.

The first one and the third one weren't on him for sure... Didn't saw the second one... He was shaky in the first and kind of fighting the puck and struggling, but man after that he gave them the chance to win !

watching these teams play playoff hockey...I can't actually imagine this year's panthers able to ever match this kind of intensity. I'm hoping coach Q changes that.
