Oh god no. But it was that drawn out, dramatic feeling where you knew we weren't gonna do it but there was that tiny glimmer hope you couldn't ignore

Then he went to the Leafs. I guess Vegas is better in this case.

If we don't land Stone now, there remains a chance to to get him during free agency. This of course hinges on whether he signs an extension with new team or not. We keep the majority of our "haul" for the time being, for better or for worse. Just trying to remain positive and not bash Sweeney for whatever doesn't happen regarding Stone. All i've got to keep blood pressure in order...lol.
