Everyone talks about Horvat, but I think it might be more realistic that it is Brock Boeser we're looking at actually. Just a gut feeling.

We draft Turcotte, add Boeser. Then we trade 16 for Leddy or something.

I think a Barrie trade return is more likely to be underwhelming rather than make me smile. The combination of a year left, the Trouba trade return, lower cap and high salaries (Skinner, Hayes) makes me think it's hard to get a great return for Sakic if he shops Barrie.

At the same time if Sakic trades Barrie, he's probably heard a number from Newport he doesn't like at all.
