JRM acquires the 8 for the 4th entry in XFINITY, as Dale wanted to run Darlington's throwback race in that #, the # had been run by BJ McLeod Motorsports; the 8 is essentially the 9 entry that had been full time, and will be split between Dale Jr, Ryan Preece, Spencer Gallagher, Zane Smith, Ryan Truex, and Jeb Burton.... in at least 24 events.... it eliminates the 88 run at Richmond in 2018

Noah Gragson goes to the 9, and Michael Annett has been assigned the 1, whereas the points from the 1 go to the 8

ROLEX 24 begins @ 2pm today on NBCSN; there are no active NASCAR competitors racing this event which kicks off Speedweeks at the Daytona Int'l Speedway/Stadium
