Spencer Boyd leaves XFINITY Series for Truck Series named to the 20 entry;
Gus Dean promoted from ARCA to Trucks will be in the 12;
GMS declines to renew 2016 Champion Johnny Sauter's contract in the 21; Sauter apparently caught off guard and was informed as of 2 pm; defending series Champion Brett Moffitt expected as replacement driver, Austin Hill is the new pilot of the 16 for SRE

Moffitt officially named to GMS Racing, however, the # changes from 21 to 24;

Halmar Friesen Racing extends tech alliance with GMS to field the 52 for Stewart Friesen

Spire Sports and CGR combining for Jamie McMurray's final scheduled Cup start at Speedweeks in the 40; McMurray won in that car # IN HIS 2ND ever appearance;

McMurray will also compete in the Clash in the 40; sponsored by AdventHealth

JTG Daugherty announces and confirms plans for 2019;

Ryan Preece, now in the 47, gets the benefits of Kroger sponsorship as the Clicklist program gets rebranded to the Pickup/Delivery/Ship model;

Chris Buescher's sponsorship is multi-platformed in the 37;

March will focus on Flavor Fill up;
April will focus on Spring cleaning aka Speedup Your Cleanup;
May will be Personal Pit Stop;
June/July will be Thrill of the Grill;

the fall portions will be:

Fast Start;
Fast Lane to Flavor;
Simmer like a Winner;

Ryan Preece expected to continue running Modifieds in addition to full Cup schedule

Cup garages may be open to fans at select times; decisions are up to the discretion of track and NASCAR; rule has been in use for Trucks/XFINITY;

XFINITY:

ALSCO signs title sponsorship for Bristol; adds to Kentucky and Charlotte track sponsorships;

GOTS:

Jesse Little/JJL Motorsports (97) confirm 12 to 15 race schedule;

Cody Ware confirmed in the 51 for Speedweeks;

Ray Black, Jr. back to SS Greenlight Racing (XFINITY/07)
