The Mets probably should have won that game. It’s crazy how literally every good teams bullpen absolutely stinks. I guess the World Series winner will ultimately be whoever’s pen sucks the least

They aren't trash in general, but between both Giants games and this one they haven't gotten the job done in the last week.

aside from hendriks and maybe petit there's been no one in that pen that's pitched consistently this season. they'd be on top of the WC standings right now if they'd converted a handful of those blown saves
