Seemed like a tame response to the cup being in the house Chipman built or did watching it on tv not do it justice?

Maybe some Jets fans don't care about the Bombers or CFL? Maybe some self-righteous people refusing to cheer because Harris was there?

Jonathon Kongbo released by the Bombers to pursue the NFL dream, good of the Bombers to do this, thought he had plenty of promise

Bombers released DE Jonathan Kongbo today. He was their #5 overall pick in last year's draft. He wants to explore NFL opportunities. He would likely have been selected in last year's NFL draft if he had not missed much of his senior year with an injury (which is also why he didn't play until Week 5-6 this year). Walters said it was part of the reason they were able to sign him without him trying to explore NFL last year. So hopefully if it doesn't work out down south he will return.

Good news is that this likely increases the odd of retaining Craig Roh. With a national and global at DE it would be hard to justify keeping 3 internationals at DE. However even finding a backup national DE is fairly tough so Bombers likely need to have 3 internationals at DE. Hope they find a way to retain Roh.

Buck's getting promoted for sure.

It also sounds like LaPo had the choice between Ottawa and Edmonton.
Nowhere to go but up for Ottawa whereas Edmonton still has high expectations for their roster.

Sorry to see Lapo go. But I always found him to be very inconsistent. Sometimes his game plan was great (especially in the playoffs this year) and sometimes his game plan was inexplicably garbage ( like trying to make Strevler a pocket passer). Hope Lapo doesn’t take Buck with him to Ottawa.

Buck won’t go. If Buck was smart he’d rather be the OC here as long as OSH is here. More talent and more of a attraction for talent here with OSH here as well.

All these guys married Winnipeg gals I’m told. Buck won’t go at this stage.

Great to see. Good for LaPo. And he wasn’t that great of a coordinator anyway, I’m excited to see someone else. I’d be happy to see Buck move up.

Hopefully Richie Hall is out the door next.

With the way we played in the playoffs i really don't want to lose anyone . I do think Buck would make a good offensive coordinator though . Nichols can shoo shoo bugger off though .

I was never a fan, although he almost made me a believer this season. In any case I don't expect that this will be a big loss.
