It's like if you blended the scope of fire emblem's combat with the strategy mechanics of Advanced Wars and put it in stardew valley's (same developer) art style.
But the true selling point is the level/campaign designer. Super in depth and easy to use customization (you can even make custom cutscenes) and you can download others' creations. For example I downloaded many recreated fire emblem titles and the designers did a good job with them.
