Matej Blumel, a prospect for the 2018 NHL Entry Draft, scored four goals in the Czech Republic's 6-2 win over Team USA in the Five Nations Under-18 tournament at Plymouth, Mich., on Feb. 14, 2018. He had an even-strength goal, a power-play goal, a shorthanded goal, and an empty-netter.

I don’t dislike this pick. Blumel can fly and had 30 goals. Probably a second liner at best, but I think he’s a decently safe bet to be a third liner.

Could be worse, Columbus only has two picks and used one of them on a kid I have legitimately never heard of. Not ranked on any list I’ve seen.

I don't mind this pick. He's a sniper so possible cheap finisher for McDavid. The Pens have been cycling guys on and off Crosby's line for years to stay under the cap. Kind of what we're going to need to do in the future.
