Yanks MUST protect homefield given the Twins road record since the All Star break. They have not lost a series since early July. For whatever reason, when they play in stadiums not named Target Field, they're superheroes.
Paxton being a LHP will get clownpounded in game 1 and I don't know if the Yankees have the pitching to win 3 out of 4 after giving up home field advantage
Sano strikes out to end the inning, but Jorge Polanco stakes Jose Berrios and the Twins to a 1-0 lead as he hits one off the Big Maple Leaf, James Paxton.
Liked what I saw from Berrios in the first inning.
If he is locked in, the Yankees could be in for a long night.
Last time Berrios pitched in a playoff game in NY, he got battered pretty good...but he was a skinnier, greener pitcher back then.
Has grown by leaps n bounds since.
