Paxton being a LHP will get clownpounded in game 1 and I don't know if the Yankees have the pitching to win 3 out of 4 after giving up home field advantage

Like is it a contractually obligated law that the Twins must always play the Yankees in the playoffs? Poor bastards.

Yankees in 3.

the twins and A's have ran into the yankees multiple times in the playoffs this century and lost

funny thing is that both teams' only playoff series wins since 2000 have come against each other

if the twins can get to whoever the yanks start in game 1 and expose the bullpen early in the series, they have a chance.

if they let the yankees cruise twice through the order before turning it over to green, ottavino, et al. the twins are probably f***ed.

the offenses are basically the same. it'll be 2019 baseball until one team brings in their closer.

I'll give this to the Yankees, it won't be a sweep but a close series.
Why does it happen to Minnesota to have a stellar year and then, bam...they meet New York in the ALDS.

Reminds me of the 2000's, those Twins teams were stacked.

They were nowhere near as good as the team this year.

NYY HAS to protect homefield given how the Twins have played like superheroes on the road since after the All Star break (have not lost a road series since early July at Oakland.

Minnesota is not as overrated as Cleveland the past few years due to the AL Central. But I don't see them having much of a chance either.

I mean the Twins lineup is much better than the Yankees. Remember the Yanks play in Yankee stadium where basically any fly ball is a homer. Brett Gardner hit 28 this year lol
