Let's hope the goal the other night took the pressure off Hillis.

Here's hoping you're right.

Speaking of which, the game is tied 3-3, Hillis with another assist. 1 goal and 2 assists so far tonight.

Also, Oshawa is tied 4-4 against Sarnia. McShane with an assist on Gens' 4th goal.

Sam Houde with another assist as Chicoutimi goes up 3-1 on Baie-Comeau. He now has 2 assists tonight.

Cam Hillis with another goal. His second tonight and third of the season to put Guelph up 6-3. He now has 2 goals and 2 assists tonight.

Hillis breaking out would be a great thing. We need Fonstad, Hillis and McShane to do well so Laval can get some more young talent next year.

Good point.

We just need Olofsson to start producing. He's my biggest disapointment of the lot.

Production wise yes, he's disappointing. But every time I watch him play, I come away liking what I saw. He will never light it up. But he is a good skater, reliable defensively, is very good in transition, and one of his qualities is his zone entries. He's made to be a 4C.

Well, he's been like that since his draft year. You watched him at the IH, the five nations, the U18s, wherever, and the skills were evident, yet the production lagged. I still feel he's a significant reason why Swedens U18 was so disappointing that year, he was a blackhole offensively. You still expect even bottom liners to produce at least some offense in lower leagues.

Don't forget Houde. He also needs to be signed this year and he's off to a hell of a start to the season.
Im higher on Houde than I am on McShane and Fonstad personally...

I think Houde and Hillis get signed, not sure about Fonsty and Mcshane...

Just turned on the Norlinder game, and just missed him scoring his 6th of the season. His team is up 4-0 after 1. Norlinder a +2 so far.

In his career of Allsvenskan he's now at 25 games, 8 goals, 5 assists, +18.

Words cannot described how hyped I am for a Montreal Canadiens defense prospect who can score goals..

We have a beautiful brochette of young defenceman coming:

Romanov
Brook
Struble
Norlinder
Harris
Fleury
Juulsen
Fairbrother

MTL are drafting pretty well in the last 3 years. We can also add Mete to that list as well....

+ Primeau +Caufield + Poehling + Suzuki + Ylonen + Lafrenière

Finished watching the game, it was my first game watching him, first thing that stands out in a hurry is how much this guy jumps into the play in the offensive zone. Several times he did this and if you didn't know he was a defensemen there are times if you just turned the game on you would have thought for sure he was a forward.

The game was boring as heck, his team won 5-0 and the play was in AIK's end mostly which likely has something to do with why Norlinder was in the offensive zone down low so much. Several times you would see him standing next to the goalie or past the goal line in the offensive zone. But it was also a blowout since I missed most of the 1st.

he now leads Allsvenskan in goals for defensemen and is tied for the lead in points for U-20 defensemen.

Romanov was the 6th D today despite having the usual lineup,

0 pts, 2 hits, 14:23 TOI It's only the 2nd time in the last 7 games that he played over 14 mins.

Olofsson had 1 shot, even, 50% on draws, 14:28 TOI, a drop in TOI after the last few games but his team got SO 3-0.

Ylonen is listed on the 1st line, but no score in the game in the 2nd.

Forgot to add no Dichow for a 2nd game in a row, he has lost his last 3 starts if I'm not mistaken and given up 12 goals in the 3 as I believe he came in half way through another game.

Ylonen is doing nothing to prove me wrong. God damn it

seems like he's been a bit streaky in Liiga games, I have only seen him in Champions league games where he has been good with 3 pts in 5 games. In Liiga he's got 7 pts in 13 games so if he plays the same number of games as last year (53) he would be on pace for 29 pts but since he won't be missing time for the WJC's, as long as he stays healthy he should play a few more games.

The good news is that he's tied for 2nd on the team in goals and 4th in points. I'd like to see him bulk up a bit, maybe spend another year in Liiga depending on how this season goes.

Jumps into the play in tje offensize zone ?

All I know is Julien and his ilk of coach better be gone by the time that kid comes over here, or you can forget about him.

When I saw him I thought if CJ was his coach they would need to have a defibrillator behind the bench for every time he ends up behind the goal line in the offensive zone.

Chicoutimi is up 2-0 on Baie-Comeau.

RHP with both goals. Houde with assists on both goals.

Edit: Chicoutimi makes it 3-1. RHP with an assist on the goal. He now has 2 goals and 1 assist so far tonight.

Harris with an assist as Northeastern tied 2-2 against Holy Cross.
