First 22 GP for Vasy - 13-8-1 with a .910
Last 22 GP - 19-1-2 with a .931
The Vezina was Vasy's to lose a few seasons ago and he lost it. IMO, it's his to lose again right now.
Lots of guys out there in the running though.
So the argument is that on Vas' hot streak he doesn't have as good of a save % as Rask has had all season?First 22 GP for Vasy - 13-8-1 with a .910

I wouldn't consider 22 games a hot streak, but aside from that, take whatever you want from my stat sharing my man lmao.So the argument is that on Vas' hot streak he doesn't have as good of a save % as Rask has had all season?
You can only control what you can, Tampa's goal support has been off the charts. Rask hasn't allowed more than 2 goals in a game since the start of Tampa's streak (the one that started at Christmas).I wouldn't consider 22 games a hot streak, but aside from that, take whatever you want from my stat sharing my man lmao.

fun fact: Tuukka Rask has not lost in regulation in Boston yet this season. 14-0-6
I think everyone unfortunately knows when his last regulation loss in Boston occured.

And Rask has a .949 save % in that same timeVasi has a 0.940 save percentage during the Lightning 23-2-1 stretch, going 18-0-1 in that time. Pretty damn remarkable, but the Vezina is about the whole season.
I hope Bishop finishes strong and finally gets one.
Erm, ok. I'm not campaigning for Vasi here. And Rask has a .949 save % in that same time
Even when you're cherry picking, Rask still has better numbers.Erm, ok. I'm not campaigning for Vasi here.
Yes, we're all very proud of him.Even when you're cherry picking, Rask still has better numbers.
I'm not even a big Rask guy, but statistically there's a big gap that's being ignored. Starts and wins are important for Vezina consideration, but save % is definitely the biggest indicator.Yes, we're all very proud of him.
Once again, that's great. I never thought Vasi should win the Vezina, though.I'm not even a big Rask guy, but statistically there's a big gap that's being ignored. Starts and wins are important for Vezina consideration, but save % is definitely the biggest indicator.
What might kill Tuuka is that he has played less games. By quite a margin too. 9 Games is a lot.And Rask has a .949 save % in that same time
