Shakthar is not coming back.

So we have 2 French and 2 German teams left in the CL and most likely a Spain vs Italy matchup in the EL...
So basically every big football league is accounted for unless I am forgetting someone :sarcasm:.

This is the most boring game since the knockouts started in both the CL and EL.

But they do park the bus. Last 5 minutes had Inter with 6 players minimum in their own box.
Antonio Conte is their manager, he's well know for his defensive stability and counter-attacking style. That 5-3-2 in defense and 3-5-2 (or 3-3-4 even) in attack relies on the wingbacks doing a lot of running, but relies on overloading parts of the pitch.

Lol, also from that match I realised that Munir is still playing football. Holy smokes, that is a name I haven't heard in a long time. He always had 88 potential in FIFA 14 to 17. Suso is still one of the most underrated players in all of Europe.
3 semifinal cup defeats for ManU this season. That’s gotta sting a bit.
Fans will laugh at Arsenal getting beat up by Chelsea at a 11pm match where the teams flew in like the day before for the final, while Man United didn't even make the final for this Banter Trophy loooool. I found out that Cardiff Metropolitan University had their football team compete in the preliminary rounds for the Europa. How come they're qualified to enter the tourney, but Wolves isn't UEFA?

Had time to reflect..Shaktar, like City, didn't stay true to themselves and play their game... So cautious, very few risks taken and they got burned. Too bad...they have more than they showed today.

The final is a good matchup though so hard to complain.

It is what it is, if you want to be dominant or play a passing game you'll be annoyed as hell by Lukaku but the truth is he's probably the best counter attack striker in the world. His speed, power and finishing ability, it's a unique package.

I'd say it's Mbappe by a fair margin, but anyway...
Lukaku had a terrible first half in every category.
Good to see he domminated the second though.

I can think of at least 5 forwards off the top of my head I’d rather have if you’re playing a counter attacking style.

That doesn’t mean Lukaku is bad or anything, he’s still very good overall, but there’s a big jump between very good and best.

The Lukaku transfer is the rare case where it worked out for everyone. He’s clearly happy and in a great place for him. United got a good price and needed to move on from him. They tried a bunch of got ya questions about United with Lukaku yesterday but he seemed to feel the same.

Harsh on the Banter accounts tho.

Not sure I'd consider Inter a dark horse but it's pretty funny.
