The Champions Classic brought the top-four teams in the nation to the same building for the first time in college basketball. No. 4 Duke beat No. 3 Kansas 68-66 in the opener of the doubleheader. The nightcap marked the fourth No. 1 vs. No. 2 matchup in college basketball in the last 10 years, and the third involving Michigan State in the Champions Classic.

I rewatched that Duke v Kansas game. That was pretty ugly. Bad shooting, an almost record amount of turnovers, so many walks/travels as well. Seems like both teams have a LOT of progression to make still.

And for the second straight week, #1 goes down! Kentucky loses to... Evansville.

I thought they were going to blow it. I think they had three shot clock violations in the last few minutes.

Congrats to the Purple Aces. Former Wildcat Walter McCarty is their head coach, and former ASU guard Sam Cunliffe plays for Evansville.
