Honestly, Luke Pither, second in scoring for Stewart's team last year (Nottingham Panthers) and former Flyers' signed player, is more likely qualified at this point. Ie. not at all.

Burdasov makes sense, his last three KHL seasons, and he's only 28:
126g 41-31 72; PO 27g 7-4 11

As long as these are low cost moves, the more the merrier in TC.
Every so often you find a diamond in the rough, and if it's just a piece of coal, well, easily discarded.

I mean, he's 28 - what if one of the kids ****s the bed? Burdsie is more of a must than an option when you think of it that way.

There is absolutely 0 reason to sign Stewart to a try out other than to give him a chance with another team. So help me god if Fletcher signs him.

It really isn't even an option guys. Don't get worked up. He is trying out for an AHL job, not an NHL one. He won't get either

Neither was giving Kevin Hayes everything he asked for in a contract with no negotiation. And yet, here we are.

When you continuously make questionable decisions, people question your decisions. I don't think Stewart will get an NHL contract, but given some of the other questionable moves we've made, I'm not so sure.
