When a player clears waivers and is sent down and then is called up again, he does not have to clear waivers to be sent down again unless he has played ten games or has been "up" for 30 days.

Also, if I’m not mistaken, wouldn’t his recall be on an emergency basis since they would’ve have enough players to ice a full roster without him? And I’m pretty sure emergency recalls don’t count for waiver eligibility

I think “emergency” recalls are more about goalies. Skaters are more dime a dozen as far as getting by with whatever you have.
