I don't understand how Erik Florchuk slipped all the way to last in the draft definitely gonna outplay that position. Not saying hes gonna be a regular NHLer but will at the very least be a top AHL producer.
They showed a graph that had 7th rd picks with a 6% chance of meeting their standard of a meaningful( 246 gp for skaters, 123 gp for goalies ) NHL career, so he very well may.

I think that Jonny Tychonik out of the Penticton Vees could be a real sleeper. He is likely to go anywhere from 25-40. BCHL is a strong league, and he is going to UND next year. I think he will end up being one of the better PPQB's in this draft, and would be pumped if the Canucks can get him at 37.


So now BCHL is a strong league?`when Jost was drafted and put up silly numbers, the biggest concern was that he played in a weak league (BCHL)? Has the league become stronger since then? But yeah, Tychonik seems solid when i saw him i wjc 18.
