I'll do my top 5 Sleepers. They're from all over the draft:

...
4) Logan Hutsko

Hutsko all the way.

For picks beyond the first few rounds.

C Logan Hutsko (NCAA Boston College): Overage F, led his NCAA team in scoring as a freshman, former USNTDP player. A significant injury limited him to 11 games last year in his first year of draft eligibility.

I second these two gents

German Grachyov, Cameron Hillis, Logan Hutsko, Simon Johansson, Linus Karlsson, Nikolai Kovalenko

I'm also interested in Hutsko, I don't know much about him but he produced at the same rate as Mittelstadt and is slightly younger...

Seeing Hutsko come up and being endorsed in several posts here, can someone provide a detailed scouting report?

I've been pretty high on Riley Stotts. The Calgary Hitmen have developed so many NHL prospects, one of the best junior teams in the CHL, and since he's gotten to Calgary he was really starting to show what he's made of. Think he has the potential to be on one of the top lines on the respective team that drafts him.

Thanks G0bias for a clip on Hutsko:

He's a fast skater who likes to carry the puck and go East-West as much as North-South. Pretty good at gaining the offensive zone with puck carrying skills. He's got some good puck control and can run a powerplay effectively. Lead his team in scoring as a rookie. On the downside he's pretty small, and lacks strength. I like him in the 2nd-3rd round but expect him to go later (5-6th).

I'd happily take him in the 2nd or 3rd. What about Brandon Kruse? Similar production, also pretty small

How would you describe his shot?

From the little I've seen of him, I'd say it looks pretty weak, but I'm not entirely sure.

Yes weak shot at the moment. But he has a pretty quick release, good accuracy, and has good hand eye coordination so he can finish passing plays. But he definitely shouldn't be the main shooter on his line until he adds velocity.

Fun Fact: he won Rookie of the Year for Hockey East. The last three to win it were all 1st round picks (Eichel, White, Keller).

Not a bad pick in the second round but we'll probably see him "fall" to 3rd or 4th.

He's a step or two down from Hustko IMO but still has some good qualities. Very good skater with plenty of speed. Uses his acceleration and speed to win puck races and backchecks hard. He hustles hard and tougher than expected for an undersized teenager. I can see why his coach at Bowling Green trusted him with so much icetime as a Freshman.

Overall pretty good offensive skills but I see him developing more as a defensive specialist if he makes it to the next level.

I think that Jonny Tychonik out of the Penticton Vees could be a real sleeper. He is likely to go anywhere from 25-40. BCHL is a strong league, and he is going to UND next year. I think he will end up being one of the better PPQB's in this draft, and would be pumped if the Canucks can get him at 37.

Zhuravylov.

If it wasn't for the Russian factor, I think he'd be a much higher potential pick.

Swedish prospects who I think are too low in many rankings:

Albin Eriksson
- Just looked through some video from the J20 playoffs and he was a dominant player there, outplayed Berggren, Lundeström and Lundkvist. Massive kid with really good hands who can skate. He's in the next group after Dahlin and Boqvist and has the highest upside of that group for sure. I think he could be a big surprise in the 1st round, HP has him as a late 1st rounder and I'm sure some teams absolutely love this player. Played at the Hlinka but was strangely never given a chance with the U18 national team after that, big mistake IMO.

Filip Johansson - Also in that group after Dahlin/Boqvist. Really strong finish to the season. Great skater, decent size, plays a smart game and handles the puck well. Only question mark would be his production at the J20 level, he really should be able to produce at that level given his skillset.

Johan Södergran - Don't see him ranked very often but he will get drafted, maybe as early as in the first 3 rounds. Not much I don't like about him, plays center, high IQ, really good skater, size. Looks a bit like he could be a late bloomer.

Carl Jakobsson - Highly skilled winger. He has turned into a really good skater after looking like a player with skating issues last season. Just like Eriksson he was never given a chance with the U18 team, he was the extra forward at best. He also hasn't been super productive but I still like his offensive upside.

Johansson went in the 1st round. Eriksson was the 3rd SWE forward picked. Södergran got drafted. Jakobsson was a miss.

I'll do my top 5 Sleepers. They're from all over the draft:

1) Eric Florchuk
2) Filip Johansson
3) Angus Crookshank
4) Logan Hutsko
5) Adam Ginning

I'll add Simon Johansson and Jasper Weatherby as super sleepers.

Looks like all of my sleepers got picked. Florchuk really had to sweat it out.

Surprised by how high Weatherby went, but I think he has good potential.
