I won't ever pretend to know better than Madden and Co, but both picks just seem so vanilla to me. I just don't see much to get excited about. Again I will be thrilled to be proven wrong.

I like the 1st pick tbh... I think there is a lot more upside to him then people are giving him. 2nd pick was pretty meh tho

Then we draft exactly the same type of player. I think we play it super conservative with our picks inside the top 60 because we’d be crushed if they weren’t decent NHLers

That would work for me, scoring potential. I'd also like to see us take a shot at big RHD Xavier Bouchard, kid looked like a surefire first rounder a year ago.
