Can someone explain to me how LA still has the money to make this happen? I feel like theyve been up against the cap since 2013 and suddenly they are slinging $6M for free agents *scratches head*

They'll have about 2m in cap space now I think. I'm going to look forward to see how they re-sign Doughty and ice a halfway decent team

Ducks are doing what they do. They never pick the consensus guy everyone here wants. They clearly have their own scouting method, so I can’t ever be upset about it. They’ve proven over the years that their method is more trust worthy than all the hockey writers’

I won't ever pretend to know better than Madden and Co, but both picks just seem so vanilla to me. I just don't see much to get excited about. Again I will be thrilled to be proven wrong.
