Can step into the AHL right away and play a bottom 6 center role. The pick makes sense from that regard, but I would have taken him in the 7th or camp invite.

Lindholm and Hanifin? Oh ****

Has to be more than just Hamilton going the other way.

NFL does a bunch of wacky filler stuff for the later rounds too but they still have analysts on there talking about picks. NHL gave up on that in the third round.

I actually like that deal for Carolina. Hamilton is what he is, very productive, doesn't seem to last long in one location. Fox has a lot of potential, and I like Ferland. Linholm is meh for me, asking for 5 or so, hasn't done much to deserve that. Hanifin seems like he's always "just a step" away.

Hamilton seems to wear out his welcome in three years. Something's off.

Definitely... and he has been involved in various rumors for a while as well so it's not out of the blue. Not normal for someone this age with this kind of stats to get traded twice.

I know really well some of the players that are being selected right now and the fact that Luka Burzan hasn't been picked yet is completely insane. (*unless he's a massive a-hole)
