Panarin makes sense because because he is 26 right now. He would be a player Hextall I think locks up to an 8 year deal if he gets him.

I hope you interpretation is better than mine. I wouldn't mind Panarin at all, right now if Simmonds stays we have 4 wingers 30+ years old next year or right on that age. Wouldn't mind jolting this team with elite young talent, but it's gotta cost more than just Simmonds for Panarin.

Not quite that much probably. Him avoiding contract talk on the final year of his deal will lower the price.

I like Panarin but he shoots right handed. If I'm dropping that kind of coin, it's on a lefty. That way he sits across from Giroux now and Patrick in the future on the PP. Its not necessary but makes a lot more sense.

Neither G's nor Jake's contracts are huge anymore. We don't have any huge contracts on the team and won't for the foreseeable future.

Hextall won't go into the season without adding a C. You can't assume Frost is ready in the fall.
