Coutourier injures the same knee that bothered him during last seasons playoffs. He is going to see the Flyers medical staff to see what the issue is. If its not a tear, surgery/recovery is usually 4-6 weeks, so he could miss the start of the season.

Habs and Sens rookie game. This is probably why the Panthers aren’t doing a rookie tournament.

Where is the problem even all Fans saying it was a clean Hit, he tryed to do something and payed the Price. And its not the argumen why we aren´t playing a rookie tournament.
Its the fact that we have only 19 Players on the AHL Roster and fill up the rest of position with growing NHL is not Ideal, so Panthers decided to stay out.
Or to say it in a different Version, the worries that the AHL Team get handled badly no one really willed to spend there, is to see this Season. But that allows the Panthers to place all the young good Players in the AHL and play with the older NHL Players.

McPhee deserves credit for not staying with a sunk cost in Tatar but if you combine both trades they gave up

an elite prospect
a 1st
2 2nds
a 3rd

for Pacioretty. Ouch.

Not a fan of either trade for them.
Hopefully Pacioretty bounces back but if he doesn't this is completely awful. Even so, guy is going to be 30 when he starts his next big contract. Glad we stayed away.

Patches signs an extension with Vegas, 4 years/$28 million. Good cap hit, just weird that Patches agreed to a 4 year deal.

He isnt losing that much money compared to the LA 6X6 deal. Not to mention if he re-ups in Vegas, he will make up and exceed the difference for those 2 years lost.

Use Montreal as a barometer.

California taxes are f***ing high. I hate it.

I stopped at Melnyk saying "fans are looking for a season that's fresh and brand new". Lol.

It'll be new in the sense that the team will be in the gutter.
Not technically new...veteran fans will take to the Sens basement dwelling like putting on an old comfortable sweatshirt ;) This is a team that went 56-224-23 in its first 4 seasons, including an inaugural season with 10 wins and only 9 in the locked-out '94 season. And despite being a very strong team from 1999-2007, they've missed the playoffs 5 times since, so it's not like they haven't done their share of losing.
