This was a hard draft this year. I suppose I painted myself into a corner waiting on defensemen. Probably should have taken Q. Hughes in the second. My goalie pick is worrying me. It's a wide open tournament this year, will be exciting seeing how it all shakes down.

Yep.

I am not even sure my swedes will play. And their were a slough of guys who were added last minute.

Had I paid attention I may have gone for Kaako in the 2nd round instead of picking Kotkaniemi (......what am I a Habs fan?) I don't mind Hayton though.

There are some solid teams out there. Good job boys.

My gamble was Ian Scott over Wahlstrom which I most likely will regret.

And Soli looking to remain the champ keep in mind...

Thanks guys! Nice to finally have a win all to myself. Always look forward to this lil tournament of ours every holiday season and I look forward to beating you all again next year. :)

So your saying I have a chance?

@McGhostbuster Chytil isn't getting released to the Czech team

Their roster was registered without him and they only have one spot left, which is because Jan Jenik is banged up.

You'll need a replacement F unless I haven't been paying attention.

@Cerebral I've been reading the Russia roster thread and it seems like Olshansky isn't on the team right now. They've only named 12F and 6D so he might get added later, make of that what you will.
Yeah, this Russian roster is impossible to figure out. Thanks for the heads up!

I will switch my pick to Ilya Morozov unless more info comes out confirming Olshansky makes the team.

I contemplated Morozov but went Romanov.....hoping one of Alexeyev or Romanov get points.

Like you said the Russian roster is hard to figure out so I gambled on Vasili Podkolzin not knowing if he'd make the cut.

The Russians like to prefer their locally developed players over the CHL players. Though who knows with Russia. I cannot forecast to you the action of Russia. It is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma; but perhaps there is a key. That key is Russian national interest.

I know the table code is frustratingly tempermental. My best tip is to touch as little as possible. From my template edit only "**", "-", and the last two letters of the flag links. Try not to copy and paste anything to the table. Don't ever touch the square brackets "[ ]".

Good luck. It's maddening.
