Duke should be #1. Gonzaga usually doesn't go the Final Four even if they are a top 8 seed, usually chokes in the tourney losing to a lower seed, and their players usually don't do well in the NBA.

I get that they just missed, but I'm stunned that Loyola isn't ranked. Like it or not, they made the Final Four last year, and they're returning almost everybody.

Tuesday KS vs MI ST. Duke vs KY. Both on ESPN. College is where they play D and I can't wait.

Finally it's here. I might be biased (I'm definitely biased) but I think RJ Barrett is the best prospect out there.

Barrett looks really good in his first game. 20 points in the first half and he’s scoring from everywhere. I really hope he doesn’t get stuck in Cleveland.

That Canadian bias :sarcasm:

Looks the goods. I'd probably take him over Zion right now. Duke is loaded, how the hell are they ranked #4? Unless there is a late riser they'll have players go 1-2-3 in the draft.

Calipari on Duke rout: 'They were just better'

Duke freshmen Zion Williamson, Cam Reddish and RJ Barrett combined to score 83 points. Freshman point guard Tre Jones, the younger brother of former Duke star Tyus Jones, finished with seven assists and zero turnovers. The Blue Devils made 46.2 percent of their 3-point attempts.

Calipari had previously suffered a 33-point loss to West Virginia while he was at UMass and a 32-point loss during his time in the NBA. But the 34-point loss on Tuesday night was the worst of his coaching career.

Barrett will be better in the NBA. Zion is only 6' 7" which is small for an NBA PF. He's also 285 which would make him the 2nd heaviest player in the NBA after Boban who even at 7' 3" is too heavy to play 30 MPG w/o getting injured.

Draymond is 6'7". Barkley was 6'5". As for the weight, we'll just have to see. I think a bigger factor might be that his freakish physical ability will be less impactful in the NBA.

He doesn't play D, he played against teenagers not the NBA, and Barkley was bad defensively, never won a title, and retired a long time ago.

The Duke trio is nasty, but people are sleeping on Nassir Little hard. He's still my fav from this class, even if Zion's playmaking would better fit my knicks.

FWIW Draymond has a massive wingspan that's well over 7", Zion's wingspan is like Barkley's at "just" 6'10". Doesn't really bother me given his lateral quickness that should let him do perfectly fine on the perimeter, and his athleticism lets him be a threat as a weakside shotblocker...even if his lack of length will make it tougher for him to block guys he's defending without fouling.

...Zion is a good defender, he's down to 272, and even at that weight he has the quickness to defend on the perimeter :dunno:

Barkley was a bad defender who never won a title and admits it. Congrats kid, I think that's the deepest baloney I've ever read here. ;)
