Disney villains would be fun. Or just Disney characters. Vinik as Aladdin's genie, Yzerman as Mufasa. Kucherov as Jafar or some other symbol of evil.

Eh... I'm not crazy about both in the same avatar. Becomes unwieldy. Simplicity is the key to good design.

Only way to combine them would be to swap the "2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs" for something like, "It's 2019 And The Lightning Haven't Won The 2019 Stanley Cup." Like a title shot, and then onto the joke. But yeah, simplicity is key. IMO, On Paper > No Cup because the jokes are a lot simpler, and a lot more obviously jokes.

That idea makes no sense. Like - there's no logical cohesion to it.

Anyway - I have my request. Kucherov's stats over the past two seasons head to head with McDavid's (which shows him outscoring him over the past two seasons.

"on paper" is fine, but isn't that traditionally used for when a team has a star filled lineup that doesn't produce statistically or in the standings? Not sure how accurate that is for us. "Cup champions, on paper" I think would be the only real good use of the phrase.
