Jacob Macdonald with the turnover leading to the Devils win.
No way! You have to mistaken! You sure it wasn't another guy named MacDonald? That can't be.

Jacob MacDonald is playing in the NHL right now with the Florida Panthers!

Does JQ look like an NHLer at this point? Can anyone who sees him in Binghamton offer some insight?

Have a feeling he's going to be another AHL all-star just like Boucher.

Seems like he can't find ways to access his skill set at the NHL level to be a top six forward. Aside from his skill set, there's no redeeming quality of his game. He doesn't pressure the puck well and he isn't strong defensively. I give him props for trying to be a physical presence and willing to drop the gloves, but you really don't want his type of player doing that anyways.

I would think the Devils look to give him a chance somewhere else this off-season in a swap deal. If not, he'll likely be a guy that's claimed on waivers in the future by another team.

I think Boucher might actually be better than him at the NHL level.

The NHL is too fast for JQ to stop and think about where to pick his spot. Unless it's against Mikko Koskinen or some other crap goalie.

Maybe he does but Bing was outshot 47-20, including 21-9 in the first, and 15-6 in the 3rd.
He has an .872% save percentage in 29 career games in the AHL and he's already turning 25 years old in a few months. He isn't for the AHL.

It's like saying Kurtis Gabriel isn't an NHL player, even if he wasn't the main culprit in a loss.

Aight but why call out Johnson, or Gabriel or whomever after a loss when they are not the main culprit. Just sounds like misplaced criticism.

Because when you have an .872% save percentage in almost 30 games, you've probably CAUSED more than your fair share of losses. Those numbers are hilariously bad and not pro league caliber.

The guy sucks.

I don't feel Johnson is anywhere near the prospect Blackwood is, but check Mack's #'s from last year.

Bing has been brutal on goalies the past couple years.

Blackwood has had better AHL stats to date than Johnson.

Johnson is JAG.

And he's looked bad almost every time I've seen him. Safe to say he's not an AHL goalie.

Probably not.
