Fabulous period from the Gulls, who take a 2-0 lead to the locker room at the end of two periods. Textbook examples of standing up the blue line, Bakersfield really unable to get anything going with speed into their offensive zone. Boyle's been good for the limited work he's had to do, as has the Comtois-Lundestrom-Cracknell line.
