I feel like they've been a trendy pick to have a breakout season for about a decade now.

The thing about the Mariners is they wasted King Felix's prime years with a horrible offense and now they're wasting their good offense with bad pitching. Yes Paxton has been awesome this year but you can never count on him for 200 innings, 150 might even be pushing it, King Felix is an average starter now at best and after that it's the just acquired Leake and then not a whole lot.

So they're mediocre, just in a different way than they used to be.

Looks like Sano is done for the regular season based on what Molitor said today. Just not enough time to get fully healthy AND his timing back.

Twins have not really missed him with how hot the offence has been but at some point you have to think his absence shows. Like on this trip.
