The Mets have done extremely well against the Cubs for whatever reason, so I don't think they are too disappointed to see the Giants with only 1 MadBum start in the series.

It was wonderful in 2010 as a lifelong fan (25 years) who had seen plenty of heartbreak. 2012 and 2014 (and this so far) is sorta grotesque. I feel for Mets fans. I felt for Pirates fans. 1997 and 2003 against the Marlins were super painful.

As a Sharks fan though, I feel like this is karma getting my back just a bit.
