Sounds like DAL up next in Courtship of Dan Hamhuis. Let's see where it goes but there is interest. No surprise. DAL/CHI had it from start.

Boston and Dallas in on Hamhuis.

Heard some rumblings that a deal could be announced tonight, but there's still 44 hours to go.

Definitely trying to trade Oleksiak. Did you see how much ice time he got tonight? More than he has had the entire season combined.

I actually saw it last night but I was too busy going deaf at an Iron Maiden show.

I'm hoping we get Hamhuis and Higgins off the Canucks for some parts that they'll like but not salivate insanely over.

I'd prefer Hansen over Higgins due to Hansen's excellent PKing ability but I think Higgins isn't the worst at it... been slipping a bit the past few years.

In the second intermission of TOR/MTL Friedman mentioned us in the group of teams looking at Hamhuis and Eriksson.

Higgins is insanely slow now. He'd be a serviceable 3rd/4th line tweener. Anything more is gravy.

Hansen would cost you too much IMO, but with Jimbo, you never know.

Hamhuis would be nice, but seems like he is likely to re-sign in Vancouver. Are we really in the position of being 1 Dan Hamhuis away from the Cup though?

Russell just seems very redundant... I mean, if he's cheap, sure, but I don't think he's a noticeable improvement over Jokipakka or Nemeth.

He's small, left-shot, can't move the puck all that well... Just doesn't seem like a good fit at all.
