I like how I went to a holy communion party, left at 1:30, getting home a couple minutes ago, and didn't miss the Saints make a pick.

Saints take RB Daniel Lasco from Cal, looks like a guy who had trouble getting on the field. Which is fine, sometimes that means he's got more miles to give you in the NFL. Defer again to you, Gene.

Temple's own Tyler Matakevich drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers. If he'll make it anywhere, it's there. I think he'll definitely stick as a special teams ace.

We've got a run here at the end of the draft on Clemson kids, as Charles Davis is desperate for someone from Tennessee to get picked.

Panthers end their draft with a TE from Montana State. A lot of people wanted so I scouted a few but I don't know anything about him. No DE, SS, OT, or even C. Odd draft.

Will Tennessee get someone picked with Mr. Irrelevant?

Answer: No! Volunteers shut out!

TSN in a big hurry to anoint David Onyemata as "the lone Canadian selected in the draft".... but he was born in Nigeria. :dunno:

Taken in the 4th round by New Orleans.

Amid all the howling the Saints didn't draft any much-needed OL help, they stood pat, then went and signed Landon Turner and Avery Young. Not bad for UDFA's. A lot of good players fell in this draft.

The UDFA period is just as important as the draft. The 49ers immediately signed Devon Cajuste. WR/TE who tested well and had a ridiculous Sparq score. He probably should have been drafted.

Can you guess which WR had the highest Sparq score?

What happened with Jayron Kearse? There was quite a bit of talk about him at one point and then he just completely fell off. Mainly an effort thing like a lot of people are saying or is he just not good? The size is definitely intriguing. Vikings picked him up with their last pick.
