This year's tournament is going to be a blast. It will be interesting to see if London runs away with it this year, or if the QMJHL and WHL powerhouses are really that good.

Not sure what to think about this Red Deer team, shame Seattle won't be there.

They are just as good as Seattle. The Western Conference was pretty weak in the WHL this year.
Most of the best teams were in the East conference.

The Rebels play a really defensive style, I could see them stealing a game. But they likely don't have the firepower to compete with the other three teams over the entirety of the tournament.

The London v Brandon game will be insane. So many future NHLers will be on the ice.

Myers is very good and there's no winning that argument but Beaudin especially is very underrated.

I'm all in on the Huskies, I think they will surprise some people at the Mem Cup.

All the teams should be pretty well rested this year as well. Rimouski went 7 tough games with Quebec last year in the Q final and were gassed for the Mem Cup. The 3 league winners all had a relatively easy runs to the championship and Red Deer has been off for a month.
