If he doesn't earn a contract (NHL/AHL/ECHL), he would have to go back to the WHL. Although I guess he could go to Marlies camp on a ATO while trying to get a contract.

I live in Regina and go to about 20 Pats games/year. You guys got a good one with Brooks. His development between this season and last was unlike anything I've seen in a Pats player before, everything just clicked for the guy. Usually when you see that it's a size thing but this is not the case with Brooks, and to top it off he's a great forechecker to boot. Smart kid, look forward to seeing his development the next few years and on a selfish note I hope he's back in Regina next season.
