0/5.

Not big enough.

But seriously, they probably saw him a decent bit while scouting Nick Ellis.

Might as well roll the dice with a 7th.

After the Paigin pick last year I'll give Chia the benefit of the doubt for the 7th rounders, but this seems like a bad pick with Quenneville, Kuznetsov and Sokolov still out there.

Loved most of the other Oilers pick, can't say the same here. Likely a future ECHL player IMO. But hey it's the seventh round.

It's very possible all three of those guys go undrafted. If that's the case, I could see a guy like Quenneville getting a prospect camp invite.

^Stu would be proud!! the difference here is that this guy was taken where he was supposed to be taken....if Stu was still here, he'd have taken him with our last pick in the 3rd round! :shakehead

All 7th rounders can be described as that.

Very true. But at least with some 7th round picks there's reason to believe there's pro potential there. That's not the case here. But, like I said, I love the Oilers' draft today. Every one of their first five picks were players who I liked heading into the draft.

7th rounder so unlikely to be an NHLer no matter who we took, but after Paigin i'll keep some hope for this guy :p
