He was compared to Taylor Hall in bantam. Kid was very dominant after his slow start (late start due to injury) until he got injured.

2-way, mean, physical, amazing shot, skilled, strong leader. Love it.

I like this pick. Benson has big potential but I think his floor as a two-way bottom six forward is pretty high as well. I liked DeBrincat but Benson is a solid pick at this spot.

I'd love to see us package a couple 3rd rounders and trade up for Dineen now.

Umm wrong. Benson was projected to be a top 15 pick before injuries. Really high reward pick imo
